Jaggery

Jaggery isn't like sugar, which has a granular texture. Most of the time, it is made into a semisolid mass. According to 2020 research, jaggery is usually golden yellow in color. It has a sweet, winy smell and tastes like brown sugar or molasses, according to the research. Good-quality jaggery has about 70% sucrose in it.
